    We procrastinate our journey to success due to a lack of confidence or fear of failure. The thought of getting going itself sends a feeling of insecurity and fear. The reason for the fear could be anything – judgement, failure, family, relatives, strangers. The more we look outside for inspiration, the more you see reasons to pull yourself back. Hence it is imperative to fight the fear. Where mind is without fear, we attain unbeleivable feats. To get rid of fear we need to be awake, mindful.

    Fear, as we said is a deterrent to success. When we focus our energy in the right track, we defeat our fear. Mindful living is the best way to accomplish this. We see our surroundings vividly, our perspectives grow and we find ourselves and see ourselves in better light with clarity.

    Being mindful helps us in fighting anxiety, stress and other psychological situations and also helps us in developing the focus and develop productivity. Once we enter this zone of our mind, slowly we kick the fear out of our mind. Where mind is without fear, the following happen.

Observe yourself as a third person without engaging in the train of thoughts. This is a slow and lengthy transformation.     While we were discussing the best morning routine, we discussed the importance of a morning detox drink. A detox drink is not something that would magically help you in reducing your body weight.     1. Haldi ginger tea

    The concoction of black tea with turmeric and ginger is one of the most effective drinks. It helps in improving your immunity and reducing inflammation. This cleanses your gut thereby improving your health.

    2. Giloy water

    Giloy is considered the best medicine for different ailments. This ayurvedic herb could be used in powder form or juice. Another option is to boil water with Giloy juice. Try this for fifteen days and see the difference.

    This is a controversial topic. Many dietitians and nutritionists don’t recommend drinking coffee as they believe that caffeine might affect bowel movements. But on the other hand, another set of experts believe that it is ideal for weight loss. We fall in the latter category.

    9. Apple Cider Vinegar

    The acetic acid present in apple cider vinegar helps in increasing the metabolism thus enabling weightloss. In addition the detox properties of ACV aid in maintaining better health.

    10. Chia seeds cinnamon water

    This is my latest obsession. Put a stick of cinnamon in boiling water. Turn off the heat and put some chia seeds. Squeeze a lemon over it and drink it before going to bed or as a wake-up drink. This is a magical concoction. You can also soak chia seeds in plain water overnight and drink it in the morning. This is particularly helpful if you are following an intermittent fasting routine,

    Bonus drink

    Apart from these magical drinks, there is one more bonus drink. Aloe vera juice. Take 30ml of concentrated aloe vera juice and mix it with 250 ml of water. Drink this on empty stomach. This is a marvelous health detox drink.

    Apart from these, we can also opt for drinking stomach full of plain water. This is the easiest and one of the best detox drinks to clear skin, weight loss, and health. Nonetheless don’t wait for the magic to happen by simply drinking this. You have to follow a proper diet and workout routine alongside.

  • Physical, emotional and digital detox #DetoxTuesday

    The word detox evokes the memory of a washout. As we saw growing up, warm water with honey, warm water with lemon juice etc. But a sole physical detox would not help the purpose. We need to cleanse inside out. Keeping that purpose in mind, I am starting a new series detox Tuesday starting from today. I will try to come up with a new post every Tuesday about the step by step process of the detox we need to apply. Today I will share two important steps of detox. (

    I will be suggesting a few Apps. These are the ones I have used myself and found helpful. This is not sponsored.

    • Emotional Detox:- Emotional detox is inevitable if you need to have a positive mind. I have shared in my Motivational Mondays as to how you shouldn’t let anything affect you. The first step is to stay away from it. Remove or block the person who drains you out. If it is impossible, mute them and stop responding to them. Stop secretly peeping into their social life. Mute their status and stop checking what they are doing and feeling miserable yourself. Don’t forget that these days people live dual lives. One is the real life and the other is the social media life.
    • Second step is the Digital detox:- There are a lot of apps to track your screen time and I have tried most of them. Personally I have found YourHour quite helpful. Download the app, set your usage limit between 4-5 hours and unlock to 50 numbers. Monitor you usage for one day and see which App you are using the most. Set a limit for the App as well. See how it works for you for a week. I will get back to you with the next step next week.

    Two golden rules about digital detox is no gadget harlf n hour before and after your bedtime. If you get to your phone the moment you wake up, the amount of toxic thoughts and negativity you breed throughout the day is unbelievably high.

    So let’s start with the first steps of emotional and digital detox.
